Sonya Lidiard

Having qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2002, I originally worked with a broad spectrum of paediatric speech and language difficulties, before joining the Spires Cleft service in 2004. Between 2009 and 2016 I took a break from cleft palate and worked with adults with head and neck cancer and voice disorders, and developed a special interest in paediatric voice disorders. Having now returned to working with cleft palate, I have a particular interest in the relationship between cleft palate and voice disorders. I currently work two and a half days a week, and provide support in particular for children and adults in East Dorset and West Hampshire.
