This has been the year of change for the Spires specialist nursing team. In Oxford we said ‘goodbye and happy retirement’ to Tina and in Salisbury we will be doing the same for Maureen and Nichola in the next three months. Maureen and Nichola both joined the service in 2004 but you will see from their website profiles that their nursing careers and experience extend well beyond that. They have worked together in Salisbury to establish the specialist nursing service and over the last 17 years will have been the first essential point of contact for many families.
The 12th May is international Nurses Day (the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth) and this is the perfect opportunity to thank Maureen, Nichola and Tina for all their work. We know it has been hugely appreciated by patients, parents and colleagues and we wish them all a happy and healthy retirement.
