Adult Combined Cleft clinic

This clinic is primarily for adult patients who are seeking further treatment for their teeth or jaw, or who have concerns about their facial appearance.

What to expect

The surgeon, orthodontist and restorative dentist may want to look in your mouth. They will discuss your concerns with you and outline any potential treatment options.

The speech and language therapist will often have a discussion with you about any speech-related concerns that you might have and listen to your speech clarity.

The clinical psychologist will talk to you about the impact that being born with a cleft lip and / or palate currently has on you. They are able to support you with regards to making decisions about any future treatment and talk to you about any worries or concerns that you may have.
