Act of Kindness Bags…..Fundraising again for Spires!

Our wonderful patient, Isabella Waistell, aged 10, and her family have once again been busy raising funds for the Spires Cleft Centre.

Born with a cleft palate, Isabella is incredibly grateful for the care and support she has received from the Spires team and is passionate about giving something back to the centre and Robins Ward.

This year, Isabella set about creating her own “Acts of Kindness Bags.” With the support of her family, she launched a GoFundMe page and helped distribute the bags throughout her local community. Isabella has become widely known for her kindness and generosity, inspiring donations from family, friends, her school, and members of the wider community.

She is always keen to choose items that will benefit patients and the team, including reward games, colouring pens, and sensory toys. Isabella was especially delighted to select some ladybird magnets for Mr Swan’s notice board!

On 29 May, Isabella and her family visited the hospital to deliver bags full of thoughtful gifts and goodies. Their continued support, generosity, and community spirit are greatly appreciated by everyone at the Spires Cleft Centre.

Thank you, Isabella and family, for making such a positive difference.
