NIHR Cleft@18-23 Study: exciting news from the Spires Cleft Centre!

On the 11th of June, the Salisbury hub of the Spires Cleft Centre proudly hosted the very first UK research clinic for the Cleft@18–23 Study.

This marks a significant milestone for both this NIHR-funded project as well as for our service.

We were thrilled by the enthusiastic response and engagement from our patients, and we are truly grateful for their participation.

A huge thank you goes to the brilliant study team from the University of Bristol whose seamless coordination and support was greatly appreciated, and an even bigger thank you to our own dedicated band of professionals, whose hard work and commitment made this inaugural clinic such a resounding success.

We’re already looking forward to our next clinic in September! In the meantime, we send our best wishes to our colleagues in Oxford who will be running their first clinic on the 26th of June: best of luck team Oxford!
