Donate to the Oxford centre
To make a secure electronic payment, please visit the Oxford Hospitals Charity website – donate to other hospital areas and specify if you would like your donation to go to:
- Cleft Lip & Palate Research Development Fund 2011, which supports research into the causes of cleft.
- Cleft Lip & Palate Outpatient Fund 2123, which facilitates updating of equipment in the outpatient area (for example, pens and colouring equipment for children, toys for clinic rooms).

Supporting local cleft charities
Spires Smiles
Spires Smiles have provided longstanding support to children and families under the care of the Spires Cleft Centre. They have funded additional equipment as well as organising activities for families.

CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association)
CLAPA is the UK national charity supporting people born with a cleft and their families. Their aim is to ensure that no one affected by cleft has to go through their journey alone. From diagnosis, all the way into adulthood, CLAPA provides much needed support to hundreds of families across the country.
