I qualified from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, with a BSc Honours in 1998.
I thoroughly enjoyed working for 25 years as a paediatric community speech and language therapist in Glasgow, Manchester, Southampton and Wiltshire supporting a range of children with speech, language and communication needs age 0-18 years.
For the last 20 years, I have held leadership positions within the teams in which I have worked and have appreciated the opportunities to develop services and ensure colleagues are well trained and supported to deliver high quality care. What I enjoy most about my job is building relationships with families to ensure parents feel well supported and children have a fun, positive experience when we see them.
