I am a consultant orthodontist working at Salisbury District Hospital. I joined the Spires Cleft team in 2018.
I qualified as a dentist in 2004, and have undertaken further specialist training in orthodontics at Birmingham, East Grinstead and Guy’s Hospital in London.
I am involved with the dental care of cleft patients from birth to adulthood. In the early stages, I assist with dental health and monitor dental development. In older patients, my work primarily involves the use of braces. I work closely with my surgical colleagues to help position the teeth and / or jaws into more ideal positions to facilitate function and aesthetics.
I thoroughly enjoy working with my colleagues in the Spires Cleft multidisciplinary team, and helping patients to smile.
